Activities include homework help, arts and crafts, sports, field trips, special events, and use of gymnasium, game room, lounge, computer lab, playground, and outdoor fields. Children ages 4-6 participate in our Funland Program. We provide adult supervision and will be open most school holidays including early release days. 

Please note: The Jefferson Youth Center is an active, sensory-rich environment that may not be suitable for all children.

Hours: 2:45 PM - 6:00 PM & extended times as indicated on schedule (we follow the Ken-Ton School District calendar only)
Closed: November 24, April 7, May 29
Jefferson will be closed August 20-September 5, 2022 (summer camp ends August 19)

Memberships & Pricing
Monthly Memberships: Includes all regular school days as signed up for during the month (must fit a pattern; i.e. all Mondays & Tuesdays, or only Fridays - must be weekday specific, not date specific)

Full-Time 5 days/week (M-F): $155 without Access Card/$150 with Access Card/$140 Sibling rate (each child must have a current Access Card and reside in same household)

Part Time:
1 day per week: $40/month
2 days per week: $75/month
3 days per week: $105/month
4 days per week: $135/month

Drop-Ins: If you just need your child to come once in a while
Afternoon Drop-In Fee (on regular school days when we are open 2:45-6pm): $10
Early Release Days: $20

Vacation Club: Vacation Club will run on full days that school is closed when Jefferson is open 8am-6pm (ie. February break). Must sign up two weeks in advance.
Vacation Club Member Fee (must have a current membership in that month): $32 per day
Vacation Club Non-member: $42 per day

What is Vacation Club and why do I have to pay separately for it? We had to change our pricing structure for the 2019-20 school year. Because of the additional cost of staffing, field trips/special events, etc. on school breaks, and because not all of our Kids Club members attend Jefferson on these days, we broke these days out separately and call them Vacation Club days. Any day that we are open 8am-6pm is considered a Vacation Club day. If you need your child to attend on a Vacation Club day (ie. Superintendent Conference Day, Winter Break, Columbus Day Break, Spring Break, etc.), you can sign up and pay for those days individually. This way, we know exactly how many children to expect and can staff and plan appropriately.

If your child has a Kids Club membership for the month of February, for example, they would receive the discounted Vacation Club rate of $32 per day for the February break (as opposed to $42). Vacation Club days are NOT included in their membership, so you must register and pay separately! 

The most important thing is planning ahead to register for Vacation Days at least two weeks in advance.

Transportation
Bussing to Jefferson may be available to students in the district through the Ken-Ton Transportation Department. You must submit a request form for alternate transportation directly to them. You can contact them directly at 874-8611.

Please note that because we are a community center that you pay membership fees for, Kids Club may not qualify as “childcare,” “daycare,” or an “after school program.” Jefferson Summer Camp, however, is a licensed summer day camp through the Erie County Health Department.
